PLEDGERS:

As a Pledger,  you agree to pledge an amount, on your own free will, and with no force or influence from any person or organization.  you agree to pledge an amount in Indian Rupees (INR).  you agree to honour the pledge for a period of 24 months from the date of your pledge.  you shall provide correct personal information to contact you.  you will honour the discretion of The Karma Network volunteers in the due diligence of the case  you will transfer the pledge amount in parts or as a whole as the case may be  you accept that the pledged amount may be donated either to one case OR multiple cases as advised by The Karma Network volunteers.  you will transfer the pledged amount in whole or part, to the individual / entity as guided by The Karma Network volunteers.  you agree and accept that No 80G certificate will be provided for this act of giving.

​INDIVIDUALS (THOSE NEEDING HELP)

As someone who needs help in terms of financial aid:  you accept and agree that all information provided is factual and authentic in all respects  you shall provide all necessary documentation and evidence as asked for by The Karma Network volunteers  you shall not tamper with any documents or evidence to present your case in any falsified manner  you agree that The Karma Network volunteers shall solely decide the approval and amount to be donated in favour of your case  you agree and pledge that all donation amount deposited into your account shall be utilized for the purpose of the need and for no other purpose whatsoever.

GENERAL

The Karma Network:

 

Is an intermediary that connects the donor and the one in need of financial aid.  is network of donors who have pledged to donate a sum of money of their choice towards a needy cause  is group of donors who have made a pledge to donate.  shall NOT collect any funds or donations in any way.  does not influence or pressurize any donor from pledging a sum for donation.  shall connect the donors to people who need financial help.  volunteers shall administer the cases to the best of their abilities and scrutiny.

  1. This Privacy Policy entails the details of our collection, use and disclosure of information, including your personal information, within www.TheKarmaNetwork.in (“Website”)

  2. This Policy specifically governs the usage of information collected by us from our Pledgers - those who pledge a sum of donation – and those in need of financial help (collectively, called the Users) of TheKarmaNetwork.in. This Policy should be read in conjunction and together with the other Terms available on the Platform.

  3. Collection of Information : (a) We receive and store information about you, such as: Provided By You: The following are collected, as you provide us with: Your name, e-mail address and telephone/mobile number. (b) Use of Information Collected by Us: We use your information to Process your pledge/need requests.

  4. Pledgers Process : (a) You will provide your contact information and pledge amount via the website www.TheKarmaNetwork.in (b) The information provided will be stored in a secure database (c) The information shall be shared with a volunteer/s of The Karma Network who will call you to process the transfer to the bank account of the individual/group who needs help

  5. Process for those who Need Help : (a) You will provide your contact information and pledge amount via the website www.TheKarmaNetwork.in (b) The information provided will be stored in a secure database (c) The information shall be shared with a volunteer/s of The Karma Network who will call you to ask for supporting documents for your case.

  6. Sharing and Disclosure of Information : While the Website is the recipient of your Personal Information or Sensitive Personal Information, we may allow access of this information to with volunteer/s of www.TheKarmaNetwork.in. Such data shall stay with them only for limited purpose and period for the processing of pledges and fulfilling the needs.

  7. Your Rights and Your Preferences : (a) At all times, you have the right to access your personal information, or update, or correct the personal information we hold about you. This can be easily done by sending an email to mypledge@thekarmanetwork.in (b) You also have the right to make a request to us, for deleting your personal information as available with us. You also acknowledge that deletion of some of these details may result in cancellation of your registration. (c) Where you have any questions, or wish to make additional requests, you may write to our support team at mypledge@thekarmanetwork.in (d) If you no longer wish to receive certain communications from us via e-mail, messages, you can unsubscribe by sending an email to mypledge@thekarmanetwork.in

  8. Data Security : We understand that we must safeguard your personal information available with us. We use best endeavors to employ reasonable technical, organizational, logical, physical, administrative measures to protect your personal information against any unauthorized access, modification, or use. 

  9. Children : You must be 18 years of age or older to make a pledge or to receive any donation. 

  10. Changes in Privacy Policy : We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Your continued use of our Platform constitutes your acceptance of our Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this section periodically to review any changes made. If you do not wish to accept any changes made to this Privacy Policy, you may cancel your use of our services
